Welcome to the World of Roshidullah Kyaw Naing

“In my world, words are how I tell the truth, and code is how I build hope. This is more than survival — it’s a mission to empower through story and software.

Roshidullah Kyaw Naing is a genocide survivor from Myanmar, and a powerful voice rising from one of the world’s most oppressed communities – the Rohingya. At just 22 years old, he is already recognized as a gifted poet, author, educator researcher, humanitarian, and storyteller. Roshidullah was born in Maungdaw Township, Arakan/Rakhine State, Myanmar, was denied access to education, freedom, and even identity being a Rohingya. But against all odds, he emerged
as a writer of deep empathy and purpose. His works reflect both personal struggle and collective pain, shedding light on the untold stories or his Rohingya people.

He is the author of two impactful books:The Painful Life of Rohingya: The Voices of Rohingya Genocide Survivors to the World – a raw, truth-telling collection chronicling the survival and resistance of Rohingya silenced people. The Secrets of a True Lover: The Burst of My Emotional Waves – a poetic exploration of love, loss, and the emotional power of the human spirit, expressed through poems haikus and tanka.
Roshidullah is currently pursuing Bachelor of Software Engineering (Hons) at the University Malaysia of Computer Sciences and Engineering (UNIMY), blending his technical studies with his deep passion for language and justice. He also runs a self-created learning center for refugees and believes that both education and storytelling are the most powerful tools to heal and rebuild broken lives. As an award-winning writer and co-author of numerous anthologies, Roshidullah continues to use poetry, story, history as a bridge — to connect. to console. and to call for change.

Books I’ve Wrote:

The Painful Life of Rohingya: The Voices of Rohingya Genocide Survivors to the World

The Secrets of a True Lover: The Burst of My Emotional Waves

My poetry is the heartbeat of my experiences – an emotional language through which I share? my truth and my people’s untold stories.

As a co-author of numerous anthologies and an award-winning voice, I stand as both a survivor and a change-maker, committed to empowering my community and inspiring others.

Why I Write:

I write because silence is dangerous. My first book, “The Painful Life of Rohingya” tells the truth of my Rohingya people, including mine who have suffered too long without justice, rights, peace and harmony in Arakan State, Myanmar and faced genocide from Myanmar military in 2017. My second book, The Secrets of a True Lover, expresses the emotional universe I carry-woven with poetry, haiku, and heart.

My poetry is not just literature; it’s resistance, remembrance, and healing. Through every word, I seek to connect, empower, and humanize.

Why I Code:

I’m currently pursuing my Bachelor of Software Engineering (Hons) at the University Malaysia of Computer Sciences and Engineering (UNIMY). In a world where our voices are often denied, I see technology as a tool of freedom and empowerment.

My goal is to use programming, web development, digital tools to build bridges between people and opportunity, between silence and action like my writings.
